Eng. Khalid Hamad Al Yami is the Chief executive officer of MOSTADAM Environmental Consultations. With a total of 31 years of experience across different Saudi Aramco operations, Eng. Khalid Al Yami brings strong leadership and technical credentials to his current position. In his role as General Manager in Dhahran, he oversees all daily activities alongside a dedicated work team and environmental specialists, ensuring that MOSTADAM operates in accordance with its accreditation by the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC).

Throughout his expansive career, Eng. Khalid Al Yami has driven excellence across key operational streams:
  • Strategic Supply & Quality Management: He has participated in industrial development, strategic procurement, sourcing, and local content by leveraging the IKTVA program. Furthermore, as an internationally certified “Quality Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor,” he evaluates suppliers to ensure effective implementation of ISO 9001 quality management systems.​
  • Inventory Optimization & Process Improvement: He successfully spearheaded the Rotatable Materials Program to eliminate lead times and reduce waste and participated actively with the Accelerated Transformation Program team regarding Inventory Control and Optimization initiatives

Prior to MOSTADAM, Eng. Khalid Al Yami commenced his journey as an engineer in plant operation, maintenance, and engineering at Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura Terminal Department. Subsequently, he held various supervisory and technical leadership roles within the company, including:

  • Supplier Qualification Unit within the Industrial Development & Strategic Supply Department
  • Supervisor for multiple units in the Operations Procurement Department, including Materials Inventory Optimization and Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
  • Group Leader for the Mechanical Equipment Cataloging Group and the Capital Projects Coordination Group within the Projects Procurement Department

Eng. Al Yami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Additionally, his professional credentials include certifications as a Lead Quality Management System (QMS) Auditor, and active memberships with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
